I am now part of a stock photography agency! The stock site is called the PhotoShelter Collection, and features work from "young" and "not quite pro" photographers. It's a really great site and a really great way for good photographers to make money on the already amazing images they have made. So JOIN! You keep 70 percent of your sales. Awesome.

I have a few (old) photographs in the premiere issue of Golden Guns Magazine. This is a new magazine started by my dear friend Courtenay Finn and Kate Phillimore. From their website:

"Golden Guns is a biannual independent publication based in San Francisco. Each issue investigates a single idea and its various manifestations in art, literature, and visual culture. The collaboration between the editors and contributors is built upon a mutual trust, thrill of the gamble, and the belief in the versatility of the printed page, ensuring that each issue will be unique and unexpected. The magazine provides a space for ideas to be explored, processes to be revealed, and mistakes to be celebrated. This project is an opportunity for displaying works that would not neccessarily come together, but which, when combined creates a publication that is relatable, critical and humorous. "

If you happen to be in the San Francisco area the launch is December 6, 2007 at
Adobe Books, 3166 16th St. Please join them!

Today is my birthday. Nothing makes me happier than dismal and banal spaces (seriously!). Here are some recent shots of mine. Cheers to the New Topographers and one more year of life!

My work is being featured in an online photographic project called FJORD. This project was founded by Grant Willing, a student at Parsons in NYC. The project features the work of over 60 photographers under the age of 35 and will hopefully culminate one day in the publication of a book! (postcard photograph by: Jonathan Knobel)
